The country’s national amateur basketball tournament proves it’s not just a home to champions inside the court but also of champions for the environment.
In a contract signing last Wednesday (Nov 17) at the ABS-CBN compound, Philippine Collegiate Champion’s League Chairman (PCCL) Rey Gamboa pledged to donate a percentage of the ticket sales in the coming PCCL finals this December to ABS-CBN Foundation’s Pasig River clean-up campaign Kapit Bisig Para sa Ilog Pasig (KBPIP). Present in the event were ABS-CBN Manila Radio Division and Sports Head Peter Musngi and KBPIP Senior Resource Mobilization Officer Ish Panganiban.
ABS-CBN Sports is the official media partner of PCCL, where 250 teams from nine regions nationwide are vying to be the Philippines’ top collegiate basketball team.
